Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing gamersforlive.com ("the Site"), creating an account, or purchasing any hosting plan from GamersForLive ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and customers of GamersForLive.

2. Services & Plans

GamersForLive provides Minecraft server hosting running on dedicated Dell PowerEdge hardware in the European Union (Netherlands). Services include but are not limited to:

• Virtualised Minecraft server instances via Proxmox
• Control panel access to start, stop, and configure your server
• Automated server deployment following payment confirmation
• Network connectivity at up to 1 Gbps

Plan specifications (RAM, CPU, storage) are as advertised at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to adjust plans with 30 days' notice.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address when ordering. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. GamersForLive will not be held liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised access to your account caused by your failure to maintain credential security.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.

4. Payment & Billing

All plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis unless otherwise stated. Prices are listed in Euros (€) and are inclusive of applicable VAT where required.

• Payment is due at the start of each billing cycle.
• Failure to pay within 5 days of the due date may result in service suspension.
• Failure to pay within 14 days of suspension may result in permanent termination and data deletion.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice by email.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 48-hour money-back guarantee for first-time customers on their first plan only. To request a refund, contact us via Discord or support ticket within 48 hours of your first payment.

Refunds are not issued in the following circumstances:

• After 48 hours from initial purchase
• On plan upgrades or renewals
• Where the account has been suspended for acceptable use violations
• For partial billing periods (e.g. early cancellation mid-cycle)

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use your server for any of the following:

• DDoS attacks, port scanning, or any form of network abuse
• Hosting illegal content under Dutch or EU law
• Cryptocurrency mining or any non-Minecraft workloads without prior written permission
• Sending unsolicited emails (spam)
• Sharing your server credentials or reselling server access without prior written agreement
• Running Minecraft crack/nulled server software or pirated plugins
• Any activity that places excessive, disproportionate load on shared infrastructure

Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension without refund. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes a violation at our sole discretion.

7. Service Availability & SLA

We aim for 99.5% monthly uptime on all hosting nodes. Scheduled maintenance will be announced at least 24 hours in advance via Discord and email.

Downtime caused by the following is excluded from SLA calculations:

• Scheduled maintenance windows
• DDoS attacks targeting your server or IP
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, datacenter power failures, etc.)
• Issues caused by client-side plugins, mods, or configuration

SLA credits (where applicable) are issued as account credit, not cash refunds.

8. Data & Backups

GamersForLive performs periodic infrastructure-level snapshots for disaster recovery purposes. These are not a substitute for your own backups.

You are solely responsible for backing up your Minecraft world data. We strongly recommend using the backup tools available in your control panel regularly. GamersForLive is not liable for data loss due to hardware failure, accidental deletion, or account termination.

Upon service termination, all server data is permanently deleted within 14 days.

9. Termination & Suspension

You may cancel your service at any time through your control panel or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account immediately and without notice for:

• Acceptable use violations
• Chargebacks or payment disputes
• Fraudulent account activity
• Any activity we determine poses a risk to our infrastructure or other customers

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GamersForLive shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also have rights under the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered customers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
